パルス磁場勾配NMR法によるスメクティック液晶の異方的拡散係数

An apparatus for the measurements of slow and anisotropic self-diffusion coefficients has been constructed. For the smectic Ad phase of CBOOA, the diffusion coefficient was measured as a function of the angle between the quadruplole coil axis and the main static magnetic field. From the rotation pattern, the diffusion anisotropy (D_&parsl/D_⊥) was revealed to be 2.8.
