双安定性Ch液晶/樹脂複合膜の透過・散乱特性

We have investigated the transparency/scattering properties of bistable Ch-LC/polymer composite films in order to clarify the effect of the helical pitch of Ch-LC and film thickness. The results indicate that the contrast ratios between the planar and focal conic states of these composite films were related to the helical pitch, and had the peak value at 0.7 μ m pitch. The contrast ratios were also related to film thickness, and had the peak value at 30 μ m thickness.
