The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of continuing to deliver lessons in media literacy, media experience, and teaching experience on media literacy in elementary school teachers. This study conducted a follow-up survey that compared younger teachers and experienced teachers who had taken the training program for improving media literacy in elementary school teachers (Sato et al., 2015; 2016). The results demonstrated that teachers continuing to deliver media literacy education and their media experience after the training program affected their media literacy, and teaching experience affected the methods and content of the lessons the teachers devised for media literacy education.
