Evaluation Method of Impact–resistant for Building Boards

Part 1 On impact force

Abstract

The impact test method is provided for in the JIS A 1408 for the building boards. The safely impact energy is graded according to the seven–grade system in the JIS A 0030. On the other hand, the impact energy is shown that nine stage which are form the colliding energy of lange–scale car to the shedding energy of finger tip in the report of Ministry of Construction. This test was conducted that the board thickness of the plywood was changed into 3mm-15mm, the impact was given with a bat, a hammer or foot kicking to the plywood. The relation between board thickness and the impact is discussed.
