Abstract
Scattered house dust, includes mite feces, mite bodies, pollen and, fungi spore, causes allergosis. Therefore, effective removal and scattering prevention are desired. Recently, wooden fooling became popular. Effect of house dust on the residents are concerned because house dust on the wooden fooling tends to scatter easily. A new silicone based floor coating was developed. This coating has excellent properties such as, superior durability, anti-chemical function, high-grip surface. The coating also has a unique function of house dust trapping. This function considered to help prevent scattering of house dust. In this study, as a test of house dust scattering, artificial house dust was used. An effect of wind on artificial house dust over the silicone coated wooden flooring was tested. A correlation between house dust trapping function and high grip function of the flooring was also verified.
