Development of Deodorizing Paints with Zeolite

Part 2 Real-sized Room Experiment and Trial to Real Structure

Abstract

The authors have designed deodorizing paint by means of diluting paint with zeolite in order to resolve the problem of bad smell in not only lavatories and sanitary rooms but also sick rooms. In series of the development, the authors have executed the experiment by means of real sized-room and applied to the actual buildings to examine the effectiveness of the developed paint to remove smell gasses. This paper describes the results of the experiment and the application to actual buildings. As the results of those, it was clarified that the developed paint was useful for removing smell gasses.
