Part 1 Corrosion Condition of 35-year-old Steel Fittings in Okinawa

Abstract

In our previous studies, we reported that actual steel doors and sashes in Okinawa corroded from surface and there was a possibility of internal corrosion. This paper describes demolition survey of actual steel doors and sashes of 35-year-old public housing near costal area in Okinawa. The result corroborated that steel doors and sashes corroded internally.
