Behavior of cementious wall under real and accellerated environmental conditions

Abstract

Two experimental houses were exposed to cold climate region (Asahikawa) and normal climate region (tukuba),and the movements exterior ceramic sidings were measured.The purpose of this study is to extend life time of detached house by clarifying the behaviors of joint between the sidings which is one of the critical parts for environmental attack. Accelerated weathering test was also performed and its behaviors were compared with thouse in exposed conditions.This paper reports on the tests results described above.
