Abstract
The objective of this study is to clarify the temperature rise properties of the separating elements in a fire with acquired thermophysical properties of fire protections. a series of numerical thermal fluid analysis was conducted to simulate the temperature rise of protected steel plates, small scale drywall assemblies with a hollow layer, and composite elements constituted by a column and walls. As the result of the analysis, it became clear that the results of the analysis have a relatively good agreement with the experiments with the appropriate thermal conductivity and specific heat of fire-resistant material on the steel or walls.
