This study aim at the development of the compound structure system of steel frame and Rammed earth brock. In this paper, strength characteristics of Rammed earth brock using the Arakida soil were researched and estimation method of compressive strength and modulus of elasticity of Rammed earth brock from ultrasonic propagation velocity were researched.As a result, for the production of Rammed earth brock with stable strength, the control of moisture content and the sealed curing at the material age of 14 days are necessary. And the moisture content of the soil can be roughly estimated by the electrostatic capacity.
