A study on applicability of one component sealant for working joint Deterioration investigation of one component sealant after 12 years

Abstract

While two component sealant are used for many of working joints, presenters have been studying applications of one component sealant for working joints. For the Study, 12 years have elapsed since was used a special one component urethane sealant on a metal-based exterior building a deterioration investigation of the sealant was conducted for confirm the situation of seal waterproofing. In this report, we report on the present condition of one component sealant in building joints after 12 years, observation of sampled sealant and result of physical property.
