Abstract

For the purpose of immediately detecting peeling of the exterior tile that occurs during an earthquake, we acquired the strain between the base concrete and the exterior tile that occurs during seismic using an optical fiber sensor. The static loading was performed as preliminary experiments, and it was shown that peeling can be detected by acquiring the strain of each phase with an optical fiber sensor. In the shaking table experiment, an RC three-layer full-scale test specimen was used in which the tiles were attached with mortar and elastic adhesives, and the tile peeling could be detected by the optical fiber sensor even under dynamic loading. In addition,it was clarified that the followability of the tile was reduced after peeling.
