Research on laser surface treatment of cementitious materials has been conducted in the field of construction, and the effects of laser irradiation on cementitious materials, such as melting or explosion of the irradiated area due to the heat, have been reported. However, there are few studies on the comparison of laser conditions to understand the thermal effects on cementitious materials in general. In this report, mortar plates were irradiated with a laser beam, and it was verified that the thermal effects differed depending on the frequency, irradiation interval, and irradiation time. As a result, it was confirmed that there were two types of surface phenomena: one was glass formation and the other was discoloration, and the effect of the irradiation interval on these conditions was significant regardless of the frequency.
