The Rivers Yono, Ibaraki, Ai and Mino flow across the Ibaraki Granites and the Paleozoic-Mesozoic sedimentary rocks, in north of Osaka prefecture, Japan. Previous studies have shown that trace elements of waters are distributed according to the basement rocks of the area. The geochemical relationship between the elements concentrations in river waters and riverbed sediments were compared to trace their fate along the flowing path to downstream.
