Geochemical constraints of the Eocene granitoid in the northern Sanandaj-Sijan Zone, Zagros Orogen, NW Iran

Mesozoic granitoids are widely distributed in the Sanandaj-Sirjan Zone (SaSZ) in NW Iran. Although the granitoids in the northern SaSZ were previously considered to have occurred mainly in the late Jurassic, some Cenozoic granitoids have been recently reported. We specified the tectonic and geodynamic regimes of the young granitoids in the N-SaSZ, based on whole-rock geochemistry and Sr-Nd isotopes.
