Oil generation kinetics determined by fluorescence response of oil-prone kerogens during DAC pyrolysis

The fluorescence spectra of kerogens were measured in situ DAC during pyrolysis at five heating rates. The Ea distribution implying that the liquid petroleum generation may take place in a narrow maturity range. The calculated kinetic parameters of these kerogens and log Ao suggesting that the reaction measured by fluorescence corresponds approximately to the kerogen-to-liquid transformation.
