抄録

The Mbalizi carbonatite complex in SW Tanzania, emplaced during mid-Mesozoic rifting related to the East African Rift System, is of both scientific and economic interest. It hosts calcite, apatite, Fe-Mg silicates, pyrochlore, and sulfides, indicating Nb-REE-base metal potential. Preliminary and previous data reveal its magmatic-hydrothermal evolution and fluid alteration.
