Agricultural development is crucial for the sustainability of nations, and rice intercropping, where rice and other crops are grown together, is gaining attention. This paper explores the impact and benefits of rice intercropping. It enhances land use efficiency, reduces reliance on fertilizers and pesticides, diversifies agricultural products, improves soil quality, and promotes sustainability. Research shows that rice intercropping increases grain production, helps alleviate rural poverty, ensures food security, and reduces carbon emissions, aiding in climate change mitigation.
