Looking Back the Development of MLF

Abstract

This is a reminiscence of the materials and life science facility (MLF) of J-PARC. It describes how MLF/J-PARC was planned in the early days since 1980s, designed, constructed and operated since 2008 with interruption by a great disaster in 2011 and a radiation accident of a facility of J-PARC.
