抄録
A new species, Fissidens touwii Tad. Suzuki & Z. Iwats. from Thailand is described. The species belongs to subgen. Sarawakia. Fissidens touwii is easily distinguished from other Fissidens species in the region by the following characteristics: regularly bistratose to pluristratose laminal cells, limbate only on vaginant laminae of all leaves, estomatose capsules, and Sarawakia-type peristome teeth.
