Collections of Fissidens made by Messrs. T. Kamiyama and K. Shiina in Laos were found to include 30 species and 1 variety. Two of these species―F. kamiyamae and F. shiinae, ―new to science, are described and illustrated, as are F. albo-limbatus, F. axilliflorus, F. dentate-limbatus, F. firmus, F. semperfalcatus, F. thwaitesii, and F. zwickeyi. New additions to the Fissidens flora of Laos number 24 species and 1 variety. Keys to the subgenera, sections and species are provided.
