The Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV) is one of the effective measures to reduce the C02. Current Nissan X-Trail FCVs are reaching to the level of current gasoline engine vehicles in performance and cruising range. But to commercialize the FCVs, cost reduction with sufficient durability should be achieved. This article describes recent progress of FCV development in Nissan and future perspectives.
