In this practice report, we report on remote parenting support (RPS) under the declaration of an emergency due to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 infection conducted by the Parenting Support Center attached Kyushu Sangyo University (KSU), and clarify the significance and essence of parenting support that we found. Under the declaration of emergency, it became impossible to provide face-to-face parenting support to the KSU Parenting Support Center. Therefore, we provided RPS through postcards and video distribution services. We show that even in RPS, the objectives of the project of the KSU Parenting Support Center can be fully achieved. However, it was found that we were able to achieve that because the target of the project was continuous members of the KSU Parenting Support Center, which was a face-to-face last year. This was found because the project was a remote discretely type of parenting support that was not face-to-face. As a future issue, if we consider “expansion of social relations” from the viewpoint of empowerment, we must consider simultaneous interactive RPS.
