A-6 Development of Data Structured Matrix involving Evaluation of Assembly Process for Product Design

Abstract

The data structured matrix involving evaluation of assembly process is developed for redesign and improvement of product. The structured matrix consists of several types of matrixes in which different types of information related to product design and assembly process is referred to each other. In this paper, characteristics of the structured matrix are explained and the matrix is applied to redesign of a concrete product as case study.
