Abstract
In Agile Development Scrum, members exercise and promote leadership according to their skills according to their progress. Execution members need shared leadership with variable leaders. Scrum masters, who play the role of connecting product owners and members, are required to have transformational leadership that presents the goals set by the owners and brings out the individual abilities of the executing members. In this article, we compare waterfalls and Scrum to see how leadership needs to change as software development methods change, and consider the roles and leadership needed to carry out value creation programs.
