Abstract
Companies have been trying to improve the cost of their supply chains for a long time. However, they have not been able to make progress in improving indirect costs because of the wide range of items and the complexity of the organization. To solve this problem, we propose the application of a prototype and the business process value chain diagram, a visualization method, to model the business processes among organizations involved in indirect cost improvement and the flow of information and decision making within complex organizations. We designed the implementation and operation of the model. The effectiveness of the developed prototype was examined and found to be effective based on a case study in which this model was applied to a domestic manufacturing.
