A study about differences of desires to change jobs depending on types of IT engineers

Abstract

In this study, to elucidate the characteristics of the desire to change jobs in the information and telecommunications industry, where the number of IT engineers is the highest, a comparison of the desire to change jobs between IT engineers in the information & telecommunications industries and the manufacturing industry is conducted. According to the survey, there was no significant difference in the awareness of “significance and value of work”, “career prospects” and “satisfaction on income”. In addition, it turned out that “satisfaction on income” in the information and communication industry has a significant negative effect on the desire to change jobs, while in case of manufacturing industry, recognition of “the significance and value of work” had a significant negative effect.
