I have the honored of writing this message as the Co-chairman of the 2002 First Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands International Conference on Assistive Technology/International Biophilia Rehabilitation Conference. This first-ever event was held on the Western Pacific Island of Saipan, a US Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).
