This paper proposes a new method for designing a multi-rate control system, in which the sampling interval of the plant output is an integer multiple of the hold interval of the control input. The objective of this study is to enhance a noise response without changing an existing closed-loop transfer function. To this end, an existing control law is redesigned independent of the closed-loop transfer function. In this study, the noise response is designed independent of the sampled reference response, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is shown.
