Hyperthermia is the use of heat to cause elevated tumor temperatures in the range of 42_??_45°C or higher. The present study is focused on the temperature-rise characteristics of volume conductors which are exposed to time-varying magnetic fields at 13.56Mhz. Spatial distributions of temperature rise in phantoms are measured, changing the conductivities of the phantoms. Phantoms are made by electrolytes and agar.
