We propose a power stabilizing method on SHG blue laser consisting of a quasi-phase-matched second harmonic generation (QPM-SHG) devise and a tunable distributed Bragg reflector laser diode (DBR-LD) by controlling the wavelength of a DBR-LD. The control algorithm for realizing low electric-power consumption was constructed. The wavelength of a DBR-LD is controlled within the phase-matching wavelength allowance range of the QPM-SHG device. The power fluctuation of blue light within ±3% was attained.
