Comparative Study of the Effect of Supplied Gases for Water Treatment by an Atmospheric Pulsed Discharge with Water Droplets Spray

Abstract

The effect of argon/oxygen ratio (Ar/O₂) on the decolorization of dye and the H₂O₂ production for comparison with that of nitrogen/oxygen ratio (N₂/O₂) was investigated for water treatment by an atmospheric pulsed discharge with water droplets spray. It was found that the effect of Ar/O₂ was higher in the low O₂ ratio than in the high O₂ ratio.
