Recent Progress in Pulsed Power Technology

Abstract

Pulsed electromagnetic energy, which is usually used as an intense electric field, a large magnetic field, a high temperature, a high pressure etc., is capable of producing an extreme state as unique reactive fields. This paper reviews the recent progress on pulsed power generators, physics in high-energy-density states, high-energy particle beams, high power electromagnetic wave, and industrial applications to environment, agriculture, food processing and medical treatments.
