Activities of the Technical Committee on Magnetics and External Collaboration

Abstract

This article firstly outlines organization and activities of the Technical Committee on Magnetics, followed by introduction of recent technological collaboration within and out of the Institute of the Electrical Engineers of Japan. The area of collaboration includes power electronics, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Event collaboration with the IEEE Magnetics Society is also fruitful especially for students.
