Abstract

In recent years, in order to prevent conflicts between heavy machinery and people, development of a system using supersonic sensing with high reception feeling and direction controllable has been performed. In the past, we investigated directional control of ultrasonic waves using a multilayer main reflector and a concavo-convex curve sub-reflector. In this paper, we propose dual focal concavo-convex curve sub-reflector and a multilayer main reflector. As a result, the size was reduced by half compared with the conventional reflector, and the detection distance of 4 m or more became possible. It is clarified that directivity control is possible in the range of +38°, -34° to +50°, -58°.
