Abstract

We aim to establish an examination method that can determine the apnea condition. So far, we have conducted experiments simulating OSAS and CSAS, measured chest and abdomen amplitudes with a depth sensor, and overlaid each waveform to visually grasp the characteristics of OSAS and CSAS. However, it is difficult to determine the characteristics of SAS visually from the waveform, because the actual screening test of SAS takes a long time. In this paper, we propose a method to automatically detect OSAS and CSAS from measured chest and abdomen amplitude waveforms.
