To develop an optimal method for controlling post-harvest stem-end rot of mango, we examined to inactivate fungi on peduncle by using the dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) or the high-concentration ozone gas. The dielectric barrier discharge formed on the surface of peduncle of a mango could inactivate fungi with high probability while the high-concentration ozone gas needed a long treatment time and caused fruits-skin damages.
