Abstract
Recently, the soft-switching techniques have been gradually introduced into dc-ac inverters and dc-dc converters. The resonance phenomena generated by the inductor and capacitor are usually employed to achieve the soft-switching of main power switches and diodes in these power conversion circuits. In this paper, the novel test equipment for resonant circuits is proposed and analysed, which enables us to examine the perfor-mance characteristics of the inductor and capacitor in the high voltage resonant circuit by using the relatively low voltage power supply.
