Recently, agriculturalists and new entrants into agriculture decreasing is a serious problem in Japan. As one reason, in particular, it is difficult and necessary to time to pass down the technics of growth monitoring that have been done by intuition and experience of a skilled farmer. To solve those problems, some technology (Robot, ICT, IoT, and etc.) are introduced to agriculture, and many researchers have been working on the digitization for the inheritance of those. Here, we focused on the digitization of the water content of fruits and vegetables where managing water is important for growth. However, the water content measuring is the destructive inspection is common, and stem water content is guessed from soil water content because it is difficult to measure while a plant growing. Although we have been developed non-invasive and nondestructive sensor modules by FD (frequency-domain) method using the parallel plate capacitor and response circuit applying the astable multivibrator, it has been found highly temperature-dependent. In this paper, we describe the analysis and reduction method of temperature-dependent of our developed sensor module, and it could acquire the water content of actual tomato sapling using our developed sensor module.
