Given the importance of appropriately discontinuing medications before surgery, especially in elderly patients, it is crucial to manage these medications to prevent potential impacts on blood pressure, heart rate, bleeding risk, and blood sugar levels. Therefore, this paper focuses on the development of an application designed to improve patient understanding and ensure proper identification of medications that should be discontinued preoperatively. This is essential for achieving successful surgical outcomes and optimizing anesthetic management.
