1) Healing in dogs improved with longer duration after treatment.
2) Calcium hydroxide paste showed the best healing, triozinc paste followed, while guttapercha produced poorest results.
3) It was generally observed that the tissue reaction of the periapical structures in human teeth was more inactive than in dogs and the reaction appeared later in the human teeth.
