Abstract
Demand failure was caused by trouble in pacemaker or input insufficiency to pacemaker without any trouble in generator.
We have experienced two cases which is considered to be low input to pacemaker to sence. This is caused by fall of myocardial potential, rise of electrical resistance around electrode or poor contact of electrode with myocardium.
On implantation of pacemaker, stable position of electrode, low stimulation threshold is important. At the same time, sufficient input to gain sencing is also important.
From the above consideration, we shoud take care of endocardial potential to manage pacemaker
