Abstract
In the era of multi-organ transplantation, the immportance of organ sharing network was advocated and Japan Organ Transplant Network was established in 1997. The new network is independent from transplant hospitals and transplant cordinators, arranged to seven block-centers in Japan, are responsible for fair performance of the service.
During the history of Organ Transplantation, National Hospitals played the important role on the encouragement of cadaveric renal transplantation. The mutual cooperation of National Hospitals for the development of organ transplantation will be more important in future.
