Abstract

Micronized organic pigments have attracted much interest in wide range of applications in recent years. In order to get the optimum performance of the micronized pigments in the application, it is necessary to disperse the pigments down to primary particles and to stabilize the resultant dispersions. This article presents an outline of micronization and surface treatment of organic pigments as well as the latest technology in making stable dispersions of the micronized pigments.
