We developed a digital 3D broadcasting system, which uses a digital broadcasting system for 525-line progressively (525p) scanned signal. This stereoscopic transmission is a new method and it converts two 525-line interlaced (525i) images for one 525p image. This report describes the method of this conversion, transmission experiment and possibility of 3D broadcasting system using this method.
