We have developed an MPEG1 (Moving Picture Expert Group) single chip encode/decode LSI. This chip is also able to encode/decode JPEG(Joint Photographic Expert Group) stream. Adopting compact ME(Motion Estimation) process and power management function, we realized single chip architecture and low power consumption.
