We have developed a 1/2-inch 1.45M-pixel progressive scan CCD image sensor. This device has achieved high resolution of 800TV-lines without a mechanical shutter, and good reproduction of color by using primary color filter. It is suitable for high resolution digital still cameras and other applications.
