23-4 H.263に基づくビデオ階層伝送方式の比較検討

Several layered video transmission methods are compared, that are based on H.263 and use SNR scalability and temporal scalability. Picture quality, a receiver buffer size and transmission error sensitivity are assessed for them. The results shows that one method which combines SNR scalability and temporal scalability outperforms in picture quality, but other methods has advantage in buffer size and error sensitivity.
