27-4 画像符号化前処理としてのグローバル動き検出の検討

This paper proposes the algorithm of the global motion detection as one of the preprocessing for MPEG2 video coding. The global motion detection is executed in the reduced images, which ate obtained by sub-sampling after low-pass-filtering. The simulation experiments show the algorithm gives the suitable motion vectors for both the whole image and the partial images.
