High Bs magnetic head cores composed of ultra thin Ni-Zn-Cu Ferrite layers and Permalloy ribbons were successfully prepared by Spark-Plasma-Sintering (SPS) method. The laminated cores showed high bonding strength, excellent soft-magnetic properties than ferrite itself. The laminated disk core is one of the promising candidates for high performance new magnetic core used card reader magnetic head.
